Hello! We are new to this forum and in need.

Proud parents of one great and gorgeous 3 year old chocolate lab female who is the family pet. Trouble is, the kids are all grown and they each want
"baby". No way!... first of all, she is our baby too, and it isn't fair for one sibling to get the dog, especially when they all want her. She
is coming into heat and as a family we've decided each sibling could have one of her offspring. We would be willing to let the parents of a potential
puppy dad have pick of the litter.

Thanks.

We lost our miniature Dachshund on Thursday in South Anchorage. She was last seen running frantically from the people that were trying to catch her on
Thomassen Drive in Botanical Heights off Timberlane Drive. This is in the Johns Park area.

The folks trying to help catch her said she was running from house to house as if trying to find which one was hers. The last I saw her, she darted between
two houses on Thomassen Dr. towards the inlet. We are praying that nothing happened to her.

If she is still alive, I suspect she ran to a house and someone caught her.

I have signs posted about a mile in each direction along the roads from Johns rd to Klatt Elementary school. I have also been going house to house with
flyers, and will continue to do so. I posted pictures of her everywhere I can think of in South Anchorage and I am checking Animal Control daily. I have
pictures at the local vet offices (at least those who were helpful).

Her name is...

Macaws

I have two macaws that are like kids.
They require/demand more attention than any other pets
I have ever had. Sometimes I ask myself what I have gotten myself into!
No regrets though, I am so in love with them. I have a Blue&Gold, and
a Military. They are only 3 and 4 years old now. I have done extensive reading
about them. I have been trying to find good articles about personality changes
as they get older. Does anyone have experiences to share about macaws at various ages? (such as reaching maturity @ around 5 YO, or how their personalities may
change at 10, 20, 30 years old?)
Looks like I am the first to post on here. I wonder if enough bird people
will come together on here for good discussions. That would be cool!

" Gabby " is a 12 year old African Gray. I do believe that the bird is a "she" as she loves men, my husband, my son, and my granddaughters
father. She shows her affection by preening, cleaning, regurgitating, she is a great bird and shows great affection. Gabby tolerates me but she does not love
me, my husband has gone to Iraq and truly deserves someone to love and spend time with her. As I have stated she is absolutely a mans bird. She has an
extensive vocabulary and once she gets over her shyness she talks almost nonstop. She tells the dog to go outside, says here ashes (my cat ). Gabby comes
complete with cage and toys. she likes to ride around on the shoulder, she likes to go outside in the summer when it's warm. She does not fly away, she
likes to walk around on the grass. She loves rice, green beans, scrambled eggs, some veggies and some fruit. She is always talking, she does complete phone
conservations. I am looking for a great home for her. The price...
