I'm Brad, I live in Fairbanks/North Pole and I am looking to rescue or purchase a hedgie. I am the previous owner of two of these little rascals and I am ready to get another one and my daughter keeps asking me so I want to do what I can to see what's available right now. I still have all my stuff and just need to buy food and some fresh pine shavings (NEVER USE cedar because it has a spore or something in it that will cause breathing problems for them and they will die).
If anyone knows a reputable source and they are not really in it for the money but love raising hedgies send me their info. I know this type of animal is fairly hard to find in Alaska especially in Fairbanks but I would consider coming to Anchorage to pick up or have a friend get it who is coming up at the end of the week to my place.
