I have two macaws that are like kids.
They require/demand more attention than any other pets
I have ever had. Sometimes I ask myself what I have gotten myself into!
No regrets though, I am so in love with them. I have a Blue&Gold, and
a Military. They are only 3 and 4 years old now. I have done extensive reading
about them. I have been trying to find good articles about personality changes
as they get older. Does anyone have experiences to share about macaws at various ages? (such as reaching maturity @ around 5 YO, or how their personalities may change at 10, 20, 30 years old?)
Looks like I am the first to post on here. I wonder if enough bird people
will come together on here for good discussions. That would be cool!
